At Divan Beds, we want every customer to feel confident when shopping with us. We pride ourselves on factory-direct prices, premium quality, and free delivery to your bedroom. However, we understand that sometimes you may wish to return or exchange an item.
This Refund & Returns Policy explains your rights and our procedures in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and UK Distance Selling Regulations.
If you cancel your order within 14 days of delivery (the statutory cooling-off period), we will:
Refund you the full product price, including your original delivery charge (if applicable).
Arrange collection of the goods from your address within a reasonable time.
⚠️ Important: To qualify for a full refund, items must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.
To cover collection, inspection, and restocking, the following charges apply:
25% of the product price if returned in its original packaging.
50% of the product price if original packaging is missing or goods are not sufficiently protected for collection. In this case, customers may be asked to arrange their own courier return.
Redelivery fee of £39 for exchanges.
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 30 days of receiving your cancellation notice and goods.
Please note that we cannot accept returns in the following cases:
Mattresses or bedding that have been opened, used, or removed from vacuum packaging (for hygiene reasons).
Items not securely packed or in an unsafe condition for collection.
Products returned due to firmness preference – firmness ratings are provided as a guide only. A 25% collection fee will still apply if returned for this reason.
Cases where the product is found cheaper elsewhere after purchase.
If your product arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
All unwanted goods must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Once your item arrives back at our warehouse, we will inspect it to confirm it is in a resaleable condition.
Any deductions (25%–50% depending on packaging/condition) will be applied at this stage.
Refund Issued
Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 30 days of cancellation/return.
Our 2-man team delivers your bed or mattress directly to your room.
We also collect and remove your old mattress during the delivery.
