2. Service Availability

Our website is intended for customers resident in the United Kingdom mainland. We do not currently accept orders outside of this area.

3. Eligibility to Order

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

• You are at least 18 years old.

• You are a UK resident.

4. How the Contract is Formed

• After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This does not mean your order has been accepted.

• The order is accepted once we confirm availability and dispatch.

• If a product is unavailable or discontinued, we will notify you. If payment has already been taken, we will issue a refund.

5. Prices & Payment

• Prices are as listed on www.divanbeds.co.uk and include VAT.

• Delivery costs are applied at checkout where applicable.

• We accept payment securely via PayPal (all major cards supported).

• We do not offer Cash on Delivery.

6. Delivery

• Standard delivery is to UK mainland addresses only.

• Delivery is made by our 2-man team directly to the room of your choice.

• It is your responsibility to ensure items fit through doors, hallways, and staircases. If access is restricted, the team may leave items on the ground floor.

• We do not offer assembly or packaging removal services.

• Delivery dates are estimates and subject to traffic, weather, and other conditions outside our control.

7. Old Mattress Removal

• We offer an old mattress removal service at £30 per mattress.

• Mattresses must be in a hygienic condition. The driver may refuse collection if the item is deemed unsafe or heavily soiled.

• Removal is carried out at the same time as delivery.

8. Warranty

• All Divan Beds products come with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.

• The warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or unauthorised modifications.

9. Refunds & Returns Policy

• Customers have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from delivery to cancel their order.

• Goods must be unused, securely packaged, and ideally in the original packaging.

• 25% fee applies for returns in original packaging (covers collection and restocking).

• 50% fee applies if original packaging is missing. Customers may be asked to return goods via their own courier in such cases.

• Refunds will be processed within 30 days to the original payment method.

• Refunds are not issued for products found cheaper elsewhere after purchase.

• Wrongly ordered or unwanted goods are subject to a 25% collection fee and a £39 redelivery fee for exchanges.

• Goods must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

10. Faulty or Damaged Goods

• Any damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

• Customers should check packaging before signing for delivery and note any visible damage.

• We may request photographic evidence of faults/damage before processing replacements.

• If goods are found to be faulty, we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with UK consumer law.

11. Liability

• Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods supplied.

• We are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of earnings, loss of profit, or inconvenience.

• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

12. Written Communication

You agree that communication with us may be electronic (email, website notices).

13. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, strikes, transport disruption).

14. Governing Law

Contracts made through DivanBeds.co.uk are governed by English law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
